Manager - – Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance - Foundry Industry

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead and supervise a team of electricians and maintenance personnel.
2. Assign tasks, provide training, and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
3. Maintenance Planning:
   1. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for electrical systems and equipment.
   2. Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
4. Equipment Inspections:
   1. Regularly inspect electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
5. Troubleshooting:
   1. Diagnose electrical problems and malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
   2. Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
6. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
   1. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
   2. Prepare reports and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
7. Compliance and Regulations:
   1. Ensure that all electrical maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
   2. Stay updated on industry best practices and safety guidelines.
8. Budget Management:
   1. Assist in budget development for electrical maintenance activities.
   2. Manage costs, control expenses, and optimize maintenance processes.
9. Inventory Management:
   1. Maintain an inventory of electrical spare parts and necessary supplies.
   2. Ensure that the inventory is well-stocked and organized.
10. Training and Development:
    1. Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
