Job Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of electricians and maintenance personnel.
- Assign tasks, provide training, and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
- Maintenance Planning:
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for electrical systems and equipment.
- Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Equipment Inspections:
- Regularly inspect electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose electrical problems and malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
- Prepare reports and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure that all electrical maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and safety guidelines.
- Budget Management:
- Assist in budget development for electrical maintenance activities.
- Manage costs, control expenses, and optimize maintenance processes.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain an inventory of electrical spare parts and necessary supplies.
- Ensure that the inventory is well-stocked and organized.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
