Position Overview:

Tradeling.com, a government-funded startup, aims to be the dominant B2B marketplace in MENA by simplifying and enhancing digital B2B trade. This role is perfect for an experienced warehouse or logistics professional passionate about innovation and contributing to a rapidly growing business. The Operations Coordinator role is based in the UAE and reports to the Area Manager.

In this position, you will make key decisions in a fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring operational efficiency and implementing best practices for continuous improvement across Tradeling's fulfillment centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Daily Operations: Oversee shift operations, including order picking, packing, and shipping to meet quality standards and timelines.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and develop outbound associates, conduct performance reviews, and maintain high levels of motivation.
• Process Optimization: Continuously assess workflows to optimize speed, accuracy, and efficiency. Implement best practices to minimize errors and delays.
• Inventory Management: Work closely with inventory control teams to ensure product availability and manage the flow of items to outbound areas.
• Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality control standards for packaging, labeling, and shipping to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
• KPIs and Reporting: Track performance metrics (e.g., order accuracy, shipping time, productivity) and report on progress. Use data to inform operational decisions.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with other departments (e.g., inbound, customer service, product, ICQA, HR) to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Problem Resolution: Address operational issues such as shipping delays, inventory discrepancies, or customer complaints.
• Technology Utilization: Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to track progress and improve workflows.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years in fulfillment, warehouse operations, or logistics, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role. Experience in F&B, fashion, or soft-line warehouses is a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and motivate a team, with experience in coaching and mentoring.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve operational challenges.
• Attention to Detail: Focus on ensuring orders are accurately packed and shipped on time.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members, departments, and external partners.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Office, and familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
