Job Description
- Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and ensuring timely replenishment of automotive parts and supplies.
- Organize and maintain the storage area efficiently, ensuring all items are easily accessible and properly labeled.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns, using inventory management software.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, and product quality.
- Assist in the implementation of safety protocols and standards to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A proactive attitude and problem-solving capabilities to address inventory issues as they arise.
- 2+ years of experience in automotive parts management or a similar inventory role is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive technology is a plus.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items, as well as the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, suppliers, and customers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tracking inventory.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage for diverse client interactions.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and accessories to assist in effective inventory management.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for tracking data.
