Evaluate purchase orders (back, current, and upcoming) to plan, schedule, and prioritize production operations.
Create and manage the master production plan to establish the sequence and lead time of each operation to meet production deadlines.
Utilize analytical and mathematical calculations to estimate the manpower, equipment, and material requirements.
Plan and prioritize resources to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
Regularly monitor critical inventory levels to identify and act on shortages or bottlenecks of supplies to prevent delays.
Modify or adjust the production schedule based on engineering changes and material shortages.
Monitor the execution of the production plan to ensure orders are fulfilled within budget, timeline, and meet customer demands.
Investigate production problems, analyze root causes, and provide solutions to improve processes.
Utilize and leverage the SAP planning system to maintain an accurate database of inventory and process flow.
Collaborate with all teams to expedite the flow of materials and documents to meet production schedules.
Prepare and provide regular production status updates to key stakeholders and suggest ways to improve efficiency.
Experience & Education Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in production planning and scheduling of multiple projects.
Minimum requirement of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
Preferred: 5+ years of related supply chain business experience, including production planning in a similar industry.
Preferred certification in CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), APICS, CPIM, or CSCP.
