2. Ensuring that medical items are securely stored in the delivery vehicle.
3. Ensuring that the documentation corresponds to each item.
4. Ensuring that all documentation is credible and accurate.
5. Mapping out a route to the destination, considering traffic and mileage.
6. Ensuring the punctual collection and delivery of medical items from the healthcare facility.
7. Ensuring that recipients sign delivery receipts and designations are verified.
8. Ensuring the safety of each item delivered.
9. Logging mileage and maintenance information in the company logbook.
10. Accurately counting and taking inventory of medical items to be collected or delivered.
11. Performing all duties within HIPAA regulations.
