ELECTRICAL CONTROL SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (To Be Based in Saudi Arabia)

Aramco Singapore is looking to fill the following position for job to be based in SAUDI ARABIA:

Experienced SENIOR DIGITAL & ANALYZER TECH SPECIALIST.

This position has been created within Saudi Aramco’s Power Systems Regional Power Operation Department to attract highly technical and motivated professionals, working as Electrical Control System Administrator (ECSA) under SCADA and Automation Systems Maintenance Unit (SASMU)/Power Operation and Control Division (PO&CD). The successful candidate will drive innovation, influence equipment suppliers and contractors to develop and implement improvements to the design, installation, maintenance and reliability of PSA/SCADA systems and network. ECSA is to provide the technical support for the company with regards to designs, standards, commission, investigations etc in regards of PSA/SCADA system security and functionality.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

• Associate Degree in Networks, Computer Majors or IT/OT or BE/BSC in Electrical/Electronic, Network, Computer Engineering, Power Systems or related
• Minimum 10 Years of field experience, practical knowledge and experience in maintenance methods and practices
• Professional Proficiency in English Language

This role is OT Operational Technology.

BRIEF RESPONSIBILITIES :

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

• Ensure the reliable and secure operation of the PSA/SCADA system infrastructure. Manage and maintain business continuity. Monitor PSA/SCADA networks for error-free and secure operation and acceptable performance.
• Provide commissioning and startup support of electrical networks and systems.
• Maintain awareness of SAES standards and SAEP procedures for Power system Automation and their latest versions.
• Serve as the technical expert for power system or operating facility in the fields of networking and systems. Specify hardware, software and application functionality. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior. Function as a role model and promoter of safety practices at work. Perform work with little or no supervision.
• Take a leading role in investigating, root-causing, and resolving availability, performance and security issues in the PSA/SCADA networks and systems and ensure that all problems are resolved in a timely manner.
• Manage and maintain automation network firewalls between the Automation Network and the control centers and DMZ.
• Oversee power systems cyber security program. Prevent, detect, and timely correct cyber security incidents and risks. Assess vulnerabilities and take actions to close security holes.
• Define or provide guidance for function requirements and specifications, and perform hardware/software selections, final system specification and system design, integration and testing for specific projects
• Participate in proof-of-concept demonstrations of new industrial networks technologies in the plant
