POS Field Support Supervisor

Non-disclosed, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are recruiting a dedicated POS Supervisor to oversee the efficient deployment, maintenance, and support of point-of-sale (POS) terminals for our merchants. This role is vital in ensuring that our terminal management and POS unit adheres to all relevant policies and procedures, delivering a seamless payment processing experience for both merchants and their customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides superior service to AFS merchants in all countries.
  • Responsible for inventory management.
  • Responsible for TMS management and key injection.
  • Ensures tickets are worked on in a timely manner and in accordance with the TMS & Field Support Procedure Manual.
  • Executes actions as directed by POS Team Leader or Head of Operations.
  • Logs, tracks, and follows up to closure all items raised by clients/internally and ensures communications of status is done on a timely basis.
  • Monitors POS performance and version.
  • Ensures the delivery of POS Terminals at merchant stores by the field support team.

Education/Certifications:

  • A university degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or related subjects.
  • Relevant professional certification such as CISA/CIA are an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in technical support, preferably in the POS industry.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with POS hardware and software.

Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:

  • Basic understanding of/ eagerness to learn card processing, merchant acquiring and Fintech products, services, processes and related risks and controls.
  • Excellent command of the English language, Arabic is a plus.
  • Providing feedback to the technical team on recurring issues and potential improvements.
  • Assisting in software installations and updates.
  • Familiarity with network configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Awareness of industry trends, best practices, and UAE compliance requirements related to POS systems.
