BMS Operator

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Higher National Diploma in Engineering (2 years) or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) or Certified Data Centre Specialist (CDCS).
• BMS-specific certifications or training.

Minimum 2 years of proven experience in data center BMS operations and management or mission-critical facilities.

Job-Specific Skills (Generic/ Technical):

• Proficiency in monitoring and operating BMS/EMS/SCADA platforms.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and white space service level agreements.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
• Proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of critical infrastructure equipment and their operation, such as power systems, generators, chillers, fan wall units, fire life safety systems, etc.
• Familiarity with various building operating systems and platforms.
• Knowledge of data center standards and regulations (preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
