Petroleum Engineer job in Dubai UAE

We are seeking an experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the petroleum engineering field and will be responsible for overseeing production operations, developing strategies, and optimizing the production performance of wells.

The ideal candidate for this position should have excellent knowledge of petroleum engineering principles, including well design, completion techniques, and production optimization. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential as well as a strong commitment to safety.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

1. Designing and implementing cost-effective solutions to maximize well efficiency
2. Assisting in evaluating existing assets and making recommendations on how to improve their performance
3. Monitoring oilfield operations on a daily basis
4. Developing plans to optimize production performance
5. Utilizing software tools such as HYSYS and PIPESIM to analyze data and create models
6. Analyzing data from production logs and other sources to identify problems or opportunities for improvement
7. Working with other teams to troubleshoot issues related to well performance or production processes
8. Providing advice on how best to develop new wells or optimize existing ones.
