Senior Business Analyst (Software Projects) (Temporary Contract)

Salary: 10K to 12K

Temporary Contract: 5 months

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for software projects. The ideal candidate will write comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements.
2. Create detailed BRDs that define project scope, objectives, workflows, and system functionalities.
3. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure clear understanding and implementation of requirements.
4. Document current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
5. Support QA and UAT processes to validate project outcomes against requirements.
6. Maintain supporting documentation, such as process flows, data models, and use case diagrams.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Experience: 3+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably in software development. Proven expertise in writing detailed BRDs and collaborating with technical teams. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
3. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, and diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart). Basic understanding of databases, APIs, and software architecture (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

1. Certification in CBAP or equivalent.
2. Experience documenting functional specifications and user stories.
3. Knowledge of UI/UX principles and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
