Engineer Marine

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop marine vessels, offshore platforms, and related structures, taking into account factors such as stability, propulsion, structural integrity, and environmental impact.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for marine engineering projects, considering factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for marine projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with naval architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize the design and performance of marine vessels and structures.
• Oversee construction and installation activities for marine projects, including shipbuilding, rig construction, and offshore installation operations.
• Conduct inspections and surveys of marine vessels and offshore facilities to assess condition, identify defects, and recommend corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field. Professional engineering licensure preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in marine engineering roles, with a focus on ship design, offshore engineering, or marine construction.
• Strong technical knowledge of marine systems and structures, including ship propulsion, marine propulsion, marine systems, and offshore platforms.
• Proficiency in engineering design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, ShipConstructor, Orca3D, and finite element analysis (FEA) software.
