Position: Purchase Manager / Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Overview: Emirates Talent Solution is seeking a highly experienced Purchase Manager or Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the signage and outdoor media advertising industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials and services required for production. This role requires strong negotiation skills, knowledge of supply chain management, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Planning & Management:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet production needs.
• Ensure timely sourcing and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid production delays.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.

• Ensure procurement processes align with the company's budget.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities and expenses.

• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Ensure all contracts are documented and properly filed.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies in all procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team, ensuring efficient performance.
• Provide training and support to team members on best procurement practices.

• Identify and implement improvements in the procurement process to enhance efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within the signage and media advertising industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations.
