What you'll bring

  • You’ll bring your unique personality and passion to the role and the team.
  • You’ll have a collaborative approach to working alongside the Executive Chef and Director of F&B and to setting the standards of excellent hygiene and safety throughout the entire BOH inclusive of the staff dining room.
  • Be able to budget and monitor the payroll costs for both the Full Time stewarding team and the contracted stewarding casuals.
  • Be able to budget, monitor and manage the cost of chemicals, washing detergents and all other associated stewarding costs.
  • You’ll have a solid understanding of purchasing protocols and inventory controls.
  • You’ll have strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to control costs, excellent attention to detail.
  • Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
  • English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
  • You will have 2-3 years extensive experience in a similar position at a 5-star establishment.
