CNC Machine Operator

Responsibilities

1. Manufacturing Stators and Rotors for usage in oilfield directional drilling
2. Follow procedures related to stator and rotor manufacturing process
3. Review necessary manufacturing procedures frequently to be fluent and aware of critical parameters related to the process
4. Verify quality control checks at each manufacturing process, prior to planning or transferring the job to the next process of manufacturing
5. Support and participate in the organization's Continual Improvement program and any problem-solving initiatives
6. Follow the operating procedures (SOP) and perform tasks based on the Job Hazard analysis performed
7. Operation of overhead cranes in the movement of parts or products
8. Select the required CNC tools as per component and programming
9. Record inspection results in the respective format
10. Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines
11. Report any abnormalities or variations observed in the manufacturing process to the concerned parties
12. Ensure the tools, gauges, and equipment used in manufacturing are maintained properly
13. Verify the calibration date of inspection tools prior to inspection
14. Document and maintain checklists, paper routers, or any ERP systems that are in place
15. Assist and support in the repair work of any machine or areas in the facility
16. Handle products, tubes & core at elevated temperatures by following necessary safety procedures
