Supervisor Electrical Maintenance

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct troubleshooting on LV/HV electrical equipment and systems and decide on the corrective action, ensuring that the right maintenance is performed on the equipment needing repair.
2. Supervise installation, repair, and maintenance jobs on a wide variety of LV/HV electrical equipment and systems covering all plants on site.
3. Monitor work execution, checking quality and following up on work progress to ensure timely completion.
4. Inspect the work of electrical maintenance contractors conducting works on the LV/HV electrical equipment and systems to ensure compliance with specified terms and parameters.
5. Ensure that Borouge electrical safety procedures, vendor/OEM instructions, and HSE requirements are available and followed by the job execution group.
6. Inspect completed jobs for conformity to statutory and company standards and regulations, ensuring quality records are filled and stored.
7. Regularly inspect the workshops and other workplaces used by the team, ensuring good housekeeping and proper organization.
8. Review tools distributed to the team and ensure the timely return of non-permanent tools, confirming all needed tools are available for job execution.
9. Ensure all team members have the proper PPE and adhere to HSE rules, effectively managing all waste.
10. Perform regular toolbox talks to relay information to the team of technicians regarding HSE&Q, HR, daily activities, etc.
11. Discuss daily maintenance and start-up schedules with planners and operation teams to ensure optimal use of resources such as time, material, and labor.
12. Ensure execution of scheduled pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up maintenance and troubleshooting activities on large and complex equipment to maintain proper operating conditions of the company’s assets and adherence to international standards.
13. Coordinate and provide technical support to shift personnel for any job-related requirements.
14. Provide day-to-day instructions for safe job execution.
15. Supervise electrical maintenance jobs for the assigned plant area with objectives to minimize failures, reduce pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up delays, and ensure equipment reliability and availability.
16. Perform visual, close, and detailed inspections of installed LV/HV electrical equipment and systems.
17. Observe and approve functional tests and equipment run tests.
18. Participate in safety audits and area walk-downs as part of the acceptance list for start-up.
19. Review and approve procurement of required spare parts based on equipment criticality analyses.
20. Receive and physically inspect delivered spare parts.
