Job Description
Strategic planning role for category wise annual budget execution plan with clear growth & promotion plan.
Design channel specific plans on monthly & quarterly basis for assortment, Planogram, promotional plans & price discounts for trade load to gain share (customer & channel specific).
Promotion planning across all channels- leaflets, tactical & drives across all channels to drive channel wise growth & margin agenda & distribution enhancement with the objective of share gain plan vs competition for KA/SM/Groceries & HoReCa business growth plan.
Product introduction plan (NPD) – distribution strategy in terms of scope of each launch along with execution & monitoring for successful implementation.
Design & run customer specific projects to engage key customer to crease preference for key brands vs. competition - (C4, LULU & Coops) to drive revenue in these accounts.
Performance Evaluation - Measure performance of each category in joint business reviews for top retailers with filed team.
Manage the deployment of commerce resources, including promotional materials, product samples, and demonstration kits.
Allocate budget for trade marketing activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial targets.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform trade marketing strategies.
Cultivate strong relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and other stakeholders in the trade channel.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably with an international FMCG company.
Strong understanding of trade marketing strategies, channel management, and execution in the FMCG sector.
Demonstrated ability to deploy commerce resources effectively to enhance brand visibility and drive product sales.
Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with retail partners.
