Job Description:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met.
- Collaborate with project team members to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Analyze project data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, including cost and resource utilization.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Evaluate project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
- Provide guidance and support to junior planning engineers on project scheduling best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments in project management methodologies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project planning and scheduling.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Professional certification in project management (e.g. PMP) is highly desirable.
- Minimum 15 years of experience as a planning engineer in the EPC & Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management software and scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera, Microsoft Project).
- Experience working on large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
