Job Description

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for retail stores. Perform variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in creating, monitoring, and adjusting store budgets and sales forecasts. Provide actionable insights to optimize profitability and financial performance.
• Oversee cash flow management for retail stores, ensuring liquidity, effective cash handling, and timely reconciliations of daily sales and petty cash.
• Collaborate with the inventory team to track stock levels, manage cost of goods sold (COGS), and ensure accurate financial records for inventory movements.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, regulations, and industry standards. Support audits (internal and external) and maintain accurate financial records.
• Partner with store managers and other departments (e.g., operations, HR) to drive financial performance, provide financial insights, and implement cost control initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations, enhance reporting accuracy, and increase overall efficiency within retail operations.
• Provide strategic financial insights to senior management regarding pricing, promotions, and profitability to help drive business growth.
• Monitor financial risks and implement controls to mitigate potential losses, ensuring financial stability across retail operations.
• Train store managers and finance staff on financial best practices, budgeting techniques, and system optimization.
• Manage and optimize SAP B1 for financial data entry, reporting, and reconciliation. Troubleshoot any system issues and train retail teams on SAP B1 processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree in finance or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, or CPA are highly preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a retail environment.
• Proficient in SAP Business One (SAP B1).
• Strong understanding of retail financial operations, including sales, inventory, COGS, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
