Duties & Responsibilities
• Liaise with business stakeholders to discover, organize, and clarify business needs and analyze challenges within the team.
• Lead communications with external vendors to find suitable solutions to address business challenges.
• Manage external service providers to ensure high quality and timely delivery of contracted services.
• Ensure that company methodology and deliverables are in line with approved company standards.
• Optimize IT service delivery and conduct quality assurance, monitoring and analyzing performance issues.
• Carry out any other reasonable and lawful request directed by the Management.
• Maintain and ensure confidentiality at all times.
• Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
• Adhere to the company's rules, regulations, procedures, and policies at all times.
• Provide professional expertise during recruitment, hiring, and training of new personnel as necessary.
• Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective department objectives.
• Monitor individual member progress and participate in their career planning.
• Provide input for preparation of the department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Department objectives.
• Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
Job Specifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviours)
Education
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Applied Science or equivalent.
• ITIL, PMI, or similar certification is an advantage.
Experience
• 10+ years in IT space, with 2+ years in a similar role.
• 5+ years in IT function or consultancy role in Trading environment.
• 5+ years in managing IT Vendor or System Integrator for Application Development and Management activities.
