Job description

Responsibilities

  • Greet Visitors: Welcome clients, vendors, and visitors with a friendly demeanor and guide them to the appropriate personnel or department.
  • Call Management: Answer and direct phone calls professionally, manage inquiries, and take messages when needed.
  • Office Coordination: Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, handle courier services, and manage mail.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with data entry, document handling, and scheduling meetings or appointments.
  • Client Interaction: Provide general information about the company’s services to visitors and callers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain logs of visitors and handle basic clerical tasks efficiently.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a receptionist or front desk role, preferably in logistics or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Personality: Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Availability: Must be punctual and able to manage flexible work hours if needed.
  • Additional: Knowledge of logistics industry processes and systems is an added benefit.
