FRAMECAD is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Service Technician to join our team.

What you will be doing

You will be providing the highest level of technical information and hands-on support to our customers and team members, so technical issues with our machines and software can be resolved promptly in the field. This results in minimized downtime for our customers, meaning they optimize their success. Through providing outstanding field service technical excellence, you will have a high ability to independently resolve complex issues resulting in great outcomes for our customers in a highly engaged and safe way. In this position, you will be based in Dubai and be required to travel to our regional customers regularly, spending time away from home.

What we are looking for

This position requires a strong customer-centric approach. You will be a competent and experienced service technician comfortable working with industrial machinery, liaising with various stakeholders including customers, customs, logistics, and our internal team to deliver the best possible service to the customer from end to end. You will have an eye for detail, want to make continuous improvements to our processes, work well in a team, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Experience:

  • Regional Lead Field Service Technician providing support to customers, preferably in the technology or construction industries.
  • Experience working independently and as a team member in a regionally dispersed area.
  • Strong technical knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
  • Knowledge and experience of learning and knowledge transfer to Technical Field-based staff and Customers.
  • Leadership of or strong contribution to a business or function that has complex external customer needs.
  • Customer obsessed (focused isn't enough for this role).
  • Skilled networker and influencer who understands change and buy-in to it.
  • Sound negotiating skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Great presentation skills for educating and hosting customers.
  • Strong commercial business acumen.
  • Quick and efficient with an eye for detail.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial.

Nice to have:

Relevant regional qualification e.g. Bachelor Level Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant trade type qualification.
