Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

Wood is currently hiring a PMC Quantity Surveyor to be based in the client office in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities

• Supports technical/engineering teams with project requirements.
• Prepares Bills of Quantities from drawings and specifications.
• Verifies and maintains records of site measurements and quantifications.
• Supports and contributes to the tender and proposal process as required.
• Identifies and analyses the commercial risk of a project.
• Conducts feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs.
• Prepares, negotiates, and analyzes costs for tenders and contracts.
• Coordinates work effort.
• Gives advice on a range of legal and contractual issues.
• Values completed work and arranges for payments.
• Carries out site/offshore surveys and produces reports.
• Reports any breaches of safety procedures to supervision/management.
• Actively participates in and promotes company health and safety campaigns, policies, and procedures, and ensures personal safety and that of colleagues at all times.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including a minimum of five (5) years (preferred) in the GCC region.
