Working closely with the Brand Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will provide marketing and administrative support in the planning, execution and evaluation of all marketing initiatives, ensuring organizational objectives are met. This role requires out-of-the-box thinking, innovative and unique ideas and passion towards content creation. The candidate must understand social trends and how to create an impactful and consistent brand presence. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Regularly posting high-quality, original and relevant content on social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest & TikTok) with the aim of enhancing audience engagement
Manage a monthly social media calendar in line with the annual marketing calendar
Responsible for creating monthly B2C & B2B blog content and updating the website to promote language learning and student learning experiences
Ensure Eton Institute brand and company information is updated and relevant across all channels and platforms (social media, listings, website, partner websites, etc.)
Liaise with the Brand Manager & SEO agency to ensure website content is accurate, relevant and in line with brand guidelines and all task deadlines are being met. Assist in the production of all marketing materials including writing and proofreading press releases, event & product information, newsletters, and any other required PR/marketing collateral
Assist with creating templates for all external communications and responding to comments/enquiries on social media
Assist in organizing and executing Eton Institute’s internal and external events, workshops & promotions aligned with the marketing calendar
Update and respond to comments, messages & reviews on Facebook & Google my Business
Find and work closely with social media influencers to promote the brand
Manage and update Meetup groups in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Explore new ways to engage and reach target audiences. Ideate and create innovative content pieces including Reels, TikToks & stories
Liaise with printing suppliers for branded merchandise, customized phrasebooks and marketing collateral
Support all the other departments with Marketing related queries and activities
Ensure that the brand guidelines, brand personality and organization mission, vision and values are upheld at all times in PR, marketing and digital marketing campaigns, collateral and team interactions
Perform other associated duties where appropriate as directed by the Brand Manager
The Ideal Candidate Would Have The Following Background
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, advertising, communications, journalism or related field
1-2 years experience in marketing or related field
Display good knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn etc.), and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
Excellent copywriting and content creation skills
Familiarity with web design and content management systems like WordPress is an advantage
Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite; knowledge of MailChimp is a plus
Basic knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)
Basic to intermediate graphic design knowledge is a huge plus (knowledge of Canva is an advantage)
Previous experience in web design, video production or animation is a plus
Strong attention to detail and delivers work of a high standard
Excellent communication, presentation & people skills
Team player with the ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
