Technical and Materials Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical and Materials Engineer to join our team. This role involves managing and overseeing technical documentation, preparing materials for submittals, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. The ideal candidate will excel in cross-functional collaboration, technical support, and regulatory updates, making sure that all engineering processes align with client and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Interpret client requirements to develop proposals and material solutions that meet project demands.
2. Prepare and manage technical and material submittals, technical letters, warranties, and respond to consultant inquiries.
3. Regularly update and maintain standard documentation, including licenses, certificates, datasheets, and third-party test reports.
4. Organize and keep the shared engineering folder updated with project approvals, specifications, logs, and datasheets.
5. Ensure renewal of essential certifications like ADCE, DEWA, and ADCO approvals and keep vendor lists current.
6. Provide technical support to clients, answering queries and offering solutions to meet their immediate needs.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Materials, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
2. Proven experience in technical documentation and material submittals.
3. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
4. Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
5. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
