Do you want to help write the next chapter of our story? We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator based in Dubai, UAE.

ROLE AND AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor Performance and action plans:
  • Monitor and communicate the reliability of sales forecasts per client.
  • Clean sales history from exceptional events:
  • Analyze historical sales (sell in) and orders, backlog, sell-out when available.
  • Adjust sales history based on peak identification and exceptional events identification.
  • Develop sales forecasts:
  • Build sales forecasts per client, taking into account product life cycle and history.
  • Assess the impact of future events (launches / promotions) on future sales volumes.
  • Make proposals to implement corrective actions in case of deviations results.
  • Integrate the sales forecast of the new goods to DMP system.
  • Monitor the stock level of the main clients:
  • Analyze the stock level of the ecom warehouse 2 times per year.
  • Propose and discuss with Sales and Finance the ways of stock level optimization (actions, destruction, returns,..).
  • Facilitate the process of sales forecasts validation:
  • Contribute to the consistency between forecast and budget per client.
  • Ensure consistency between forecast and sales & marketing plans.
  • Ensure permanent contact with the sales and marketing departments.
  • Interface with Markets to collect feedback and update forecasts when necessary.
  • Demand Forecasting:
  • Create accurate demand forecasts for Clarins products within the DD Clients, taking into account historical sales data, market trends, promotions, and seasonality.
  • Use advanced tools and techniques to develop demand models that anticipate fluctuations and align with marketing campaigns, new product launches, and key travel seasons.
  • Monitor and communicate the reliability of sales forecasts per client.
  • Assess the impact of future events (launches / promotions) on future sales volumes.
  • Integrate the sales forecast of the new goods to ERP system.
  • Maintain the status (Active, Discontinued, Inactive and the product life cycles).
  • Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Operations Teams:
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand upcoming promotions, product launches, and seasonal demands, incorporating these into the demand planning process.
  • Coordinate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and product availability at various retail locations.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • KPI Tracking: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, fill rate, stock levels, inventory turns, and service levels to assess the efficiency of the demand and supply planning process.
  • Reporting: Providing regular reports on inventory status, demand forecasts, supply chain performance, and any risks to upper management.
  • Prepare regular demand planning reports for S&OP, highlighting potential issues, opportunities, and performance against sales targets.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identifying potential risks or disruptions (e.g., delays, supplier issues) and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Developing backup plans for critical products to ensure that shortages or delays don't negatively impact sales.
  • Facilitate the process of sales forecasts validation:
  • Contribute to the consistency between forecast and budget.
  • Ensure consistency between forecast and sales & marketing plans.
  • Ensure permanent contact with the sales and marketing departments.
  • Interface with Sales department to collect feedback and update forecasts when necessary.

Requirements:

  1. Education/Degree: University educated with either Business or Engineering Degree.
  2. Background including total years of experience: 2 to 3 years experiences in Supply Chain Operations, in particular on Demand Planning.
  3. Technical skills: Excellent utilization of MS Office suite (Excel, Access) and databases.
  4. Effective utilization of Demand Planning systems and tools.
  5. Expertise of main statistical methods to calculate sales forecasts.
  6. Knowledge of Beauty market specificities as a plus.
  7. Languages: English.
