Assistant Beverage Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and curate the beverage menu, including wines, cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s brand and guest preferences.
2. Select and source high-quality beverages, often working closely with suppliers and distributors.
3. Design and implement seasonal or themed beverage menus to enhance guest experience.
4. Manage the beverage department’s budget, including cost control, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
5. Analyse sales and profitability of the beverage program, making adjustments as needed to meet financial goals.
6. Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels, ensuring stock rotation and minimizing waste.
7. Conduct regular inventory checks and manage ordering processes to ensure a consistent supply of beverages.
8. Collaborate with the events and catering teams to create customized beverage offerings for special events, weddings, and corporate functions.
9. Oversee the execution of beverage service during events, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
10. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative beverage concepts to keep the hotel’s offerings fresh and exciting.
11. Train and mentor the bar team, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the offerings, preparation techniques, and service standards.
12. Conduct regular training sessions on beverage pairings, cocktail preparation, and customer service.
