Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations for a client in the financial services sector at ADGM. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial services operations, and a commitment to ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and optimize daily operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
2. Develop, implement, and monitor operational procedures to improve workflow and service delivery.
3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of processes.
4. Ensure all operations comply with ADGM and UAE regulatory standards, including AML, KYC, and other financial services regulations.
5. Stay updated on regulatory changes and adjust processes accordingly.
6. Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and legal advisors as needed.
7. Lead and manage the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
8. Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to enhance team performance.
9. Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics for team members.
10. Oversee relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring optimal performance and value.
11. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to meet operational needs.
12. Monitor and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining service quality.
13. Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing robust control measures and contingency plans.
14. Collaborate with IT and digital teams to implement and optimize operational technologies.
15. Drive automation initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce manual dependencies.
16. Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including KPIs, SLAs, and compliance metrics.
17. Conduct root cause analyses of operational issues and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. 8-10 years of experience in operations management within the financial services or banking sector.
3. Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational efficiency.
4. Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
5. Proficiency in operational software, financial tools, and project management systems.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
