QA QC Engineer - Joinery

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct regular and thorough inspections of joinery products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
2. Identify, document, and communicate any defects, deviations, or non-conformances, and collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions.
3. Perform in-depth measurements and assessments of both raw materials and finished joinery products.
4. Use in-depth knowledge of joinery machinery to ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance to achieve optimal performance and product consistency.
5. Perform internal quality audits to assess adherence to company standards, industry regulations, and best practices in joinery production.
6. Create detailed reports documenting quality issues, audits, corrective actions taken, and progress towards continuous improvement.
7. Provide training to factory staff on quality control procedures, machinery operation, and best practices in joinery production.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Proven experience in a factory joinery environment.
2. Strong understanding of joinery machinery and production processes.
3. Experience with quality control inspection and auditing, preferably in a manufacturing or joinery setting.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations.
5. Well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement corrective actions swiftly.
