We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager - EP & ES to join our Security Services Team in our HQ, located in DAFZA, Dubai Airport Free Zone.
Scope: To provide overall management and strategies for Transguard Executive Protection & Event Security SBU. To be the central point of contact for all related HQ-based & Operational requirements as needed. The role includes overseeing both specialist BUs, including the day-to-day running of operations, development in operations and growth, and acting as the strategic lead for both.
Security Operations Management:
- Overseeing day-to-day security operations for both Executive Protection and Event Security, including personnel deployment, incident response and emergency management in the UAE and other operational deployments in the GCC
- Conducting comprehensive security assessments and gap analysis to identify strategic priorities and improvement areas
- Leading cross-functional teams to develop security strategies, policies, and frameworks
- Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of security programs and initiatives
- Providing strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on investments in resources and capabilities
- Conducting regular reviews and updates of the business strategy to adapt to business needs
Project Management:
- Developing and implementing strategic security initiatives aligned with organizational goals and risk tolerance
- Collaborating with senior leadership to integrate security considerations into overall business strategy and decision-making.
- Manage executive security tasks throughout and prioritize initiatives based on strategic objectives and potential revenue
- Ensure alignment of security projects with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging threats
- Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members and contractors involved in the security operations
Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and ensure service satisfaction
- Developing and maintaining relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry peers
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards is in place
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with industry standards and client requirements while pushing both business units forward
- Develop and implement all required SOPs and documentation as the business requires
Incident Investigations:
- Conduct thorough investigations of any security incidents or breaches to determine root causes, identify responsible parties and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensuring thorough documentation of incident investigation findings, including timelines, actions taken and recommendations for mitigation
FP&A:
- Work with management accountants to understand and develop financial planning and reporting. The senior manager is expected to have a strong understanding of FP&L elements and be the strategic lead in areas of responsibility
- Forecasting security-related expenses and resources
- Analyzing cost-effective security solutions and technologies where applicable
- Daily, Weekly and Monthly managing and monitoring of all security-related financial metrics in these sectors
Selection Criteria
- Minimum of 8 Years of experience in Executive Protection and Security management
- Experience in Event operations and Event management is preferred and key experience to hold
- Preferable corporate experience working within large-scale organisations
- Preferably ex-military / Law enforcement
- Preferable UAE and/or regional experience in security operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, employees, and external stakeholders
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team day to day as well as implement growth
- Strong understanding of security principles and techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel if needed by the business, especially key over peak periods of operations
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of regulatory and industry best practices both for SIRA & PSCOD
- Proven experience in event security management, major sporting, music, and concert events
- Experience managing large and multicultural teams
- Maintaining client relationships, being the main POC of all clients under management lanes
- Strong P&L knowledge of monthly FP&A reporting, business requirements, and Event Security and Executive Protection growth
