POSITION: Art Director
OVERVIEW
Destinations of the World News, the leading independent luxury travel and lifestyle publication, is looking for an art director to assume creative leadership of its flagship media platforms and join our team in the heart of Dubai Media City, situated in one of the liveliest commercial capitals of the world.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate art director with solid knowledge of the luxury consumer and publishing industries, and a proven history of designing luxury fashion, travel or lifestyle titles to work on Destinations of the World News, including our monthly print edition, commercial projects, newsletters, and assist with the conceptualisation of the re-design of online platform, DOTWNEWS.COM.
The successful candidate will work alongside the editorial team and managing director, and on occasion external agencies. The person we are looking for will have worked as an art director of a luxury title for an established publishing company, and be familiar with all aspects of print and digital publishing, from content creation, brand development, photo/video shoot creation and digital applications to distribution, marketing and business rationale.
