Job Summary:
The Safety Officer is responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations on construction sites ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and fostering a culture of safety among all personnel. The role involves coordinating and implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing safety training to workers. The Safety Officer plays a crucial role in minimizing risks and preventing accidents on site.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related field (preferred).
Certifications in safety management (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH) required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
Majority of time will be spent on construction sites.
Exposure to various weather conditions and potentially hazardous environments.
Some travel may be required between sites.
