Initiate contact with targeted customers, deliver product demonstrations, coordinate and drive sales opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle, and travel within the assigned sales territory to establish and retain effective relationships with customers.
Provide technical support and knowledge about the company’s products to customers.
Analyze customer needs and challenges and tailor solutions that address specific problems, ensuring that the proposed solution not only meets technical requirements but also adds value to the customer’s business.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to update sales strategies and tactics.
Plan and conduct sales visits as per the weekly planner and update the status in ERP.
Follow up on leads assigned by the sales coordinator and provide feedback.
Prepare regular sales visit reports detailing sales performance, revenue generation, and market trends as per set frequency.
Establish partnerships with industries such as oil & gas, instrumentation, etc., to pursue new initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaborate closely with the Proposal team to ensure proposals are submitted to customers on time and provide prompt feedback to enhance the quality of proposals.
Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and improve sales processes.
Review and understand techno-commercial proposals and work with the Estimation team and customers on design and pricing.
Identify and develop new market and client opportunities.
Oversee the use of sales modules in ERP systems to track sales activities and manage customer interactions.
Perform any other duty as assigned by the line manager or senior management team.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Graduate in Mechanical/Electrical engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in sectors such as water treatment, oil & gas, pumps, instrumentation, equipment, panel industry, and fire & safety.
Strong interpersonal skills to clearly convey technical information and build relationships with customers.
Time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines consistently.
Willingness to stay updated with industry advancements, new technologies, and ongoing product training.
Proven ability to maintain punctuality and reliability in executing job responsibilities.
Strong command of English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
