Presales Cybersecurity Specialist
Job description
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and propose appropriate cybersecurity solutions.
- Provide insights into industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices to customers.
- Conduct technical gap analysis sessions with clients to evaluate their cybersecurity posture.
- Design customized cybersecurity solutions tailored to client needs, including vulnerability management, endpoint security, and cloud security.
- Develop and deliver compelling technical proposals, including architecture diagrams and solution roadmaps.
- Showcase cybersecurity solutions through PoC deployments.
- Address technical concerns, objections, and challenges raised by clients during the sales cycle.
- Assist in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders by providing detailed technical responses.
- Work with cross-functional teams (sales, delivery, and vendors) to ensure alignment of proposed solutions.
- Coordinate with product vendors and technology partners to design and validate solutions.
- Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their confidence in the proposed solutions.
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans on networks, systems, applications, and databases.
- Identify and classify security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
- Prepare detailed assessment and test reports outlining findings, severity levels, and remediation steps.
- Experience with manual testing techniques to identify security gaps.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as:
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- CompTIA Security+
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience with hands-on knowledge in system admin role, presales, and the cybersecurity domain.
