The Role
Position: Contracts Manager
Job Summary: Oversee all contractual aspects of the company’s real estate projects ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and operational requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Departmental Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to real estate development projects.
- Develop and implement standardized contract management processes, templates, and procedures to ensure efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, industry standards, and company policies in all contracts.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, procurement, and project management teams to align contracts with business objectives.
- Analyze contract terms to identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing issues and disputes during the project lifecycle.
- Lead the resolution of contract-related disputes or claims, engaging internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
- Provide guidance and training on contract management best practices to internal teams.
- Supervise and mentor the Contracts Specialist and Document Controller, fostering professional growth and efficient workflows.
- Manage and organize contract-related documentation for accurate and timely recordkeeping.
- Prepare reports and updates on contract status, risks, and performance for senior management.
- Stay informed on relevant regulations, industry trends, and market conditions to maintain competitive and compliant contracts.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in contract management.
Preferred Requirements:
- Master's degree in Contract Management, Construction Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Ability to analyze complex legal, financial, and technical documents to identify risks, opportunities, and inconsistencies.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and resolve disputes effectively.
- High precision in reviewing contracts and managing documentation for accuracy and compliance.

- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple contracts, timelines, and deliverables.
- Deep understanding of contract principles, legal frameworks, and industry standards, especially in real estate and construction.
- Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., Aconex, Procore) and standard office tools.
- Strong collaboration skills with internal teams, legal counsel, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
- Expertise in identifying and mitigating contract risks to safeguard organizational interests.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving project demands and regulatory environments.
