Health, Safety and Environment Manager (Dubai, United Arab Emirates)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace.
2. Responsible for HACCP/Pre-requisite Program implementation through monitoring, coordination, assessment, verification, and follow-up.
3. Responsible for all safety inspections in the workplace.
4. Monitor, evaluate, and review existing, new, and upcoming health and safety legislation and ensure that the College has systems and procedures in place to meet legal compliance.
5. Assists the Commercial, Engineering, Stewarding, and Operations Department in all issues concerned with health and safety at work.
6. Keeps updated with the latest industry trends as well as UAE and Dubai Housing Regulations and new products in the market.
7. Undertake and attend fire drills and housing inspections.
8. Create, maintain, and verify records of all HACCP and Health and Safety Reports documentation.
9. Perform hazard analysis & continual improvement in food safety.
10. Makes recommendations for areas of improvement related to food & safety.
11. Offering general health and safety advice to all employees.
12. Working with and training all employees to manage, monitor, and improve the health and safety standards in the workplace.
