Job description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the IT infrastructure and systems within the organization.
- Ensure the smooth operation of all hardware, software, and networking systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to all employees, including non-technical users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement IT solutions that meet business needs.
- Manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies to continuously improve the organization's IT capabilities.
- Train and mentor IT staff to enhance their skills and expertise.
- Handle any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience in IT, with a focus on managing IT systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in IT-related courses or equivalent education.
- Thorough knowledge of operating systems, networking, hardware, and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to explain technical issues and solutions clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects.
- Certifications in relevant IT areas (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA) would be advantageous.
