Job Description:
As a Sales Merchandiser for Home Appliances, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of home appliances to customers in a retail setting. Your main duties will include setting up product displays, organizing merchandise, and ensuring that the products are presented in an attractive and appealing manner to maximize sales. You will need to be knowledgeable about the features and benefits of the home appliances you are selling in order to effectively communicate with customers and provide them with product information. Additionally, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers and providing excellent customer service to meet their needs and drive sales. The ideal candidate for this role should have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of home appliances.

Responsibilities:

1. Create visually appealing product displays to attract customer attention and drive sales of home appliances.
2. Monitor and maintain appropriate product inventory levels, ensuring shelves are adequately stocked and products are properly displayed.
3. Collaborate with sales team to develop promotional strategies and pricing initiatives to increase sales and maximize profitability.
4. Conduct regular store visits to assess product placement, competitor activity, and overall merchandising effectiveness.
5. Train store staff on product features and benefits to enhance their product knowledge and improve sales performance.
6. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for product placement improvements and new product introductions.
7. Work closely with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain strong relationships.
8. Implement merchandising plans and strategies in alignment with company objectives and brand guidelines.
9. Participate in trade shows, industry events, and product launches to showcase home appliances and promote brand awareness.
10. Evaluate and report on the success of merchandising initiatives, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization of sales outcomes.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or degree preferred.
2. Previous sales experience in a retail environment, preferably in home appliance industry.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Familiarity with home appliances products and trends.
5. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
