Summary: We are seeking a qualified Procurement Officer to join our team responsible for executing daily operations in the procurement department. The ideal candidate must excel in time management, negotiation, and possess high organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Receive Purchase Requests: Receive and process purchase requests from relevant departments.
Send Requests for Quotations to Suppliers and Contractors: Prepare and send requests for quotations to suppliers and contractors.
Create Price Comparison Model: Prepare a price comparison model to evaluate and compare received quotations.
Negotiate with Suppliers and Contractors: Negotiate prices, payment terms, and supply arrangements with suppliers and contractors.
Create Purchase Orders and Contracts via the System: Generate purchase orders and contracts using the approved electronic system.
Monitor the Supply of Required Materials: Track the supply of materials and ensure timely receipt.
Supplier Record Management: Effectively handle suppliers and regularly update the supplier records.
Submit Reports: Prepare and submit required reports to the procurement management.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors to ensure optimal value.
Perform Additional Tasks: Undertake any additional tasks as assigned.
