• Bachelors degree in finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in trading a variety of fixed income securities.
• Proficiency in relevant financial software and trading platforms, especially Bloomberg Terminal.
• Strong understanding of the fixed income market and trading strategies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Existing relationships with clients and counterparties is a plus.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory framework.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Trading Execution:
• • Buy and sell fixed income securities on behalf of the firm and its clients, including corporate bonds, government bonds, and money market instruments.
  • Execute trades efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Strategy Development:
• • Develop and execute trading strategies based on market analysis and client needs.
  • Monitor market trends, analyze economic data, and make informed investment decisions.
• Relationship Management:
• • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional and retail clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Attend client meetings and presentations, representing the fixed income desk and promoting our services.
• Risk Management:
• • Manage risk effectively by adhering to trading limits and risk guidelines.
  • Monitor positions and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Reporting:
• • Prepare and present trade reports to senior management, providing insights into market activity and performance.
• Market Knowledge:
• • Stay up-to-date on financial market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes.
