We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Digital CX & Social Media & (Internal) Communications Lead to oversee and execute a comprehensive social media, digital & omnichannel communications strategy & execution. This role will manage the full spectrum of social media and digital channels, along with developing and executing internal communication initiatives that enhance employee engagement, corporate culture, and information flow across the organization.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand's goals and enhances engagement across platforms.
Create and optimize content publishing schedule and ensure timely, relevant, and engaging posts.
Provide recommendations on the most efficient formats for social media content, based on internal and competitive learnings.
Outline the channel purpose and how it will be achieved, including audience/persona definitions, defined KPIs, reporting strategies, publishing cadence, and hashtag strategy.
Run paid social media campaigns, including testing, learning, and optimization (A/B Testing).
Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate social media account success, including reach, engagement, and conversion metrics.
Manage paid strategy budget, plan, KPIs, and reporting structure for paid social media initiatives.
Monitor brand guidelines adherence for the channel and content.
Develop SOPs for adverse events or emergency communications, ensuring protocols and workflows are in place.
Capture and analyze online conversations about the company and the medical aesthetics industry via social listening tools. Collect and prioritize insights to inform and inspire our teams.
Create and share reports that feature insights from overarching conversation drivers about the company, competitors, and industry trends.
Organize and conceptualize influencer events and initiatives.
Monitor and manage social media interactions, respond to comments and direct messages, and foster a positive online community.
Use Sprout's Smart inbox tools to respond to direct messages, track tags, and mentions.
Establish a process for tracking inquiries and leads.
Implement a community management strategy that includes treatment of direct messages, comments, mentions, and tags from users.
Produce real-time stories and posts to engage our audience.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Digital Media Manager, Social Media Manager, or similar role, with at least 5-7 years of hands-on experience managing social media and internal communications for major brands.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to produce compelling content that drives engagement and aligns with brand voice.
Familiarity with the medical aesthetics or healthcare sector and its nuances, especially in how related content resonates on social media platforms.
Fluency in Arabic is preferred but not required. Candidates who can write in both English and Arabic will have a distinct advantage. Excellent English copywriting and long-form writing capabilities are mandatory.
Deep understanding of social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), trends, and best practices.
Experience in internal communications, including developing content for employee newsletters, emails, and intranet platforms.
Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout, Motomo, Google Analytics), content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), and internal communication platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint).
Strong creative abilities paired with a data-driven mindset. Capable of interpreting social media metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including collaboration with internal teams and external partners, while meeting deadlines.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the MENA region.
