Our client, an international law firm are wishing to recruit a qualified accountant with a minimum of two years experience in a law firm or professional services environment. You must already be based in Dubai.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage regional VAT filings and oversee corporate tax processes across regional offices.
Respond to queries from regulatory bodies on tax assessments and liaise with tax auditors.
Maintain the transfer pricing mechanism among regional offices, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Provide support to Payables and Revenue teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Oversee Timekeeper rates and handle ad-hoc queries from Timekeepers, supporting their time recording and client information requirements.
Assist in financial audits and ensure the implementation of audit recommendations.
Required Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with an accounting firm in the UAE. Prior experience in the service or legal industry is advantageous.
Education: University Graduate or Post Graduate, with a major in Accounts preferred.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with accounting platforms such as ELITE and 3E is an advantage.
Language: Fluent in English, with strong communication skills (verbal and written).
