Heavy Bus Driver

We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused heavy Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, timely, and comfortable transportation for passengers while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transport Scheduling:

   1. Collate and edit transport schedules based on passengers' needs.
   2. Arrive at designated collection points before departure times.

2. Passenger Management:

   1. Confirm all passengers are present and document no-shows.
   2. Ensure adherence to passenger limits, both seated and standing.
   3. Separate physical altercations and de-escalate verbal disputes when necessary.
   4. Assist passengers in disembarking at correct destinations promptly.

3. Safety and Compliance:

   1. Avoid high-traffic and accident-prone routes where possible.
   2. Observe all traffic and safety laws at all times.
   3. Record and report all major accidents and incidents to the supervisor.

4. Vehicle Maintenance:

   1. Ensure the shuttle bus is fueled, well-maintained, and clean.

Qualifications:

1. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
2. Proven experience as a shuttle bus driver or in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of traffic laws and local routes.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
6. Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.
