Job description

Responsibilities

  1. Assist Payroll run operations.
  2. Provide professional answers to payroll queries from Group's employees and ensure any payment issues are properly resolved.
  3. Enter payroll deduction data in the system, such as staff miscellaneous deductions and penalties.
  4. Update employee profile data and payroll records regularly in the system.
  5. Coordinate with Group Business Coordinators for any missing information as required.
  6. Issue payroll statements to Group's staff, including Statement of Accounts.
  7. Assist in standardizing the methods in which work will be accomplished.
  8. Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information.
  9. Assist in the Time Attendance process.
  10. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Graduation in any discipline, preferably in accounts.
  2. Strong computer skills, including typing and software knowledge.
  3. Knowledge of wage withholding orders.
  4. Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to address employee issues and concerns.
  6. Effective team player.
  7. Ability to multitask in a stressful environment with specific deadlines.
  8. Ability to work independently in a time-sensitive environment.
  9. Confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records.

Experience

2-3 years' experience in payroll or accounts position in the UAE.
