Lead Social Consultant Oil & Gas

Location: Dubai or Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates

Salary: AED 30,000 - 36,000 per month (tax-free)

At Menasa & Partners, we are partnering with one of the world's leading international consultancies to recruit a Lead Social Consultant. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile onshore oil and gas projects across the Middle East, driving social impact and sustainability initiatives at a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead social impact assessments, land acquisition, resettlement planning, and cultural heritage protection initiatives.
2. Prepare key reports, including ESIA/ESHIAs, RAPs, SEPs, Gender Action Plans, and Social Management Plans.
3. Oversee surveys, site visits, data collection, and analysis to support project deliverables.
4. Advise clients on compliance with international and local social performance standards (e.g., WB, EBRD, ADB, Equator Principles).
5. Manage multiple projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and stakeholder engagement.
6. Lead and mentor a small team operating across the Middle East.

Ideal Candidate:

1. 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in social impact and sustainability consulting.
2. Experience working with a Tier 1 consultancy.
3. Strong knowledge of social and sustainability reporting frameworks.
4. Expertise in international financing institutions' social standards.
5. Understanding of human rights, gender issues, and community engagement.
6. Proven report writing and client advisory experience.
7. Background in Oil & Gas projects.
