Our client, the newly launched national lottery operator within the UAE, is currently searching for a Finance Assistant to join their team in Abu Dhabi.
In this role, you will support the finance team in various accounting and financial tasks, assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with senior finance professionals to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with financial procedures.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Support financial analysis on revenue, expenses, and market trends.
Help track financial performance against targets and KPIs.
Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions accurately.
Assist with P&L tracking and variance analysis.
Collaborate with other departments to support cost management and efficiency initiatives.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
Support the preparation of financial presentations for senior management.
Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
Experience in iGaming is an advantage.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Excel and financial software.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and support senior finance professionals.
Must be able to obtain and maintain any required licensing or work permits for this role.
Proficiency in English is required, proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
