Steel Painter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Painter to join our professional team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Steel Painter, you will be responsible for applying high-quality protective and decorative coatings to steel structures, equipment, and components in various industrial settings.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare steel surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and removing rust or old paint.
• Mix and match paints according to specifications and color requirements.
• Apply primers, paints, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Ensure proper coverage and thickness of coatings to meet quality standards.
• Inspect completed work for defects and touch up as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when handling paints and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
• Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed.
• Adapt painting techniques to accommodate Dubai's extreme weather conditions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (2-3 years minimum) in industrial painting, preferably with steel structures.
• Proficiency in various painting techniques for steel surfaces.
• Strong knowledge of paint mixing, color matching, and application methods.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various positions and handle painting equipment.
• Understanding of corrosion protection methods and industrial coating systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in industrial painting is preferred.
• Safety certifications (e.g. OSHA) related to working with hazardous materials is a plus.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai.
• Familiarity with extreme weather conditions and their impact on painting processes.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Efficient and organized work habits.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including high temperatures and at heights when necessary.
