Duties & Responsibilities
Liaise with business stakeholders to discover, organize, and clarify business needs and analyze challenges within the team.
Lead communications with external vendors to find suitable solutions to address business challenges.
Manage external service providers to ensure high quality and timely delivery of contracted services.
Ensure that company methodology and deliverables are in line with approved company standards.
Optimize IT service delivery and conduct quality assurance, monitoring, and analyzing performance issues.
Carry out any other reasonable and lawful request directed by the Management.
Maintain and ensure confidentiality at all times.
Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
Adhere to the company's rules, regulations, procedures, and policies at all times.
Provide professional expertise during recruitment, hiring, and training of new personnel as necessary.
Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective department objectives.
Monitor individual member progress and participate in their career planning.
Provide input for the preparation of the department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved budget and work plans to deliver department objectives.
Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
Job Specifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviours)
Education
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Applied Science, or equivalent.
ITIL, PMI, or similar certification is an advantage.
Experience
10+ years in the IT space, with 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
5+ years in an IT function or consultancy role in a trading environment.
5+ years in managing IT vendors or system integrators for application development and management activities.
