Technical Engineer

• Support the technical team in preparation of CSI format specifications and technical reports (including Acoustic, BMU, VT, etc.)
• Carry out tender technical evaluation, and prepare reports for the main packages and provisional sum packages
• Ensure coordination between drawings, specifications, technical reports, typical details, and material selection
• Prepare Material cut sheets
• Conduct a comparative study of material choices and systems to align with project quality requirements and budget
• Review and assist with proposed materials and detailing ensuring compliance with project requirements
• Review engineering and technical submittals
• Prepare PS & PC tender package as required
• Assist the Design and supervision team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in architectural or civil engineering
• 10-15 years of working experience in turnkey projects or large multi-disciplined projects
• Awareness of industrial standards in terms of material & specialty system usage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge in various engineering trades including but not limited to MEP, Structure, Landscape, Acoustic, BMU, VT, sustainability/green buildings, waste management, and various codes & authorities requirements
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft tools
• Deliver under pressure to meet the deadlines
