Counselor

Job Responsibilities

• Consult reference material such as textbooks, manuals, and journals in order to identify symptoms, to make diagnoses, and to develop approaches to treatment.
• Counsel internal & external clients regarding problems such as stress and family situations, in order to modify behaviour and/or to improve personal, social, and vocational adjustment.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling or treatments, and the accuracy and completeness of diagnoses, then modify plans and diagnoses as necessary.
• Observe individuals in group interactions or in other contexts to detect indications of mental deficiency, abnormal behaviour, or maladjustment.

Qualifications

A Bachelor Degree in Psychology or any relevant major pertaining to Psychology Services such as Counselling, Social Work, etc.
