Project Manager

Compass Project Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a complex, multi-story commercial development in Dubai. This role requires a skilled professional with strong experience in managing new-build office projects, specifically within Dubai. Arabic language proficiency is essential to navigate local requirements and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Charter Development: Develop a comprehensive Project Charter to define the vision, objectives, and strategies for the successful delivery of the project.
• Stakeholder Management: Establish clear communication channels and manage relationships with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Risk Management: Implement a risk management framework to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks, ensuring project continuity and timely resolution.
• Master Schedule Development: Create a detailed master project schedule covering key milestones, dependencies, and critical paths. Regularly update and adjust the schedule, including strategies to address any potential delays.
• Budget Management: Oversee project budgeting, ensuring that the project remains within financial limits. Track and manage costs, working closely with the commercial team to provide financial updates.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality standards and procedures, conducting regular site inspections and audits to ensure all work meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Resource Allocation: Plan and allocate resources effectively, ensuring that the project has the necessary workforce, materials, and equipment at each stage.
• Procurement Oversight: Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials and services, ensuring timely delivery aligned with project schedules.
• Change Management: Develop and manage change control processes, assessing the impact of proposed changes on schedule, budget, and scope.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards, implementing safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing new-build office projects
• Experience working for a reputable Project Management Consultant
• Demonstrated experience with projects in Dubai, understanding local codes and regulations
• Proficiency in Arabic for effective stakeholder communication
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on risk management and stakeholder alignment
• Expertise in budget management, quality assurance, and compliance with safety standards
